Barbera in Agliè began as a light, “country” wine, meant to be drunk while working in the vineyard rather than in convivial moments such as the end-of-harvest celebration. Today, thanks to technique and scientific advances developed in the field of viticulture, it is possible to enhance a grape variety by expressing its full potential.
By bringing these two sides together, the aim was to create a Barbera that is light at its core, to keep the historical reference, that shows more body on the nose, almost like a French wine for its bouquet of aromas, yet with its typical, recognizable acidic streak that brings mind and palate unmistakably back to Barbera.
